Man vs. Wild

One of my favorite shows on TV is Man vs. Wild. Bear Grylls, a former British Special Forces soldier parachutes into deep wilderness all over the world and he has seven days to find his way out. All he usually has with him are a knife, flint, and a canteen and sometimes less. Some of the things he does are crazy and some things are absolutely disgusting. If you haven't seen it before check it out, you may like it.

The other night while surfing the web I cam across his blog. I linked to his blog in the My Fellow Bloggers section. Some of the adventures this guy has gone on are nuts.

Rhett and I love that show! Have you seen Survivorman too? It's similar, except he even films the show himself!

I've seen both shows on a few occasions (I don't have TV), and they are pretty cool.

You've probably seen this, but if not, sorry to burst your bubble.

Hopefully Survivorman is more real.

I have seen Survivorman several times and have not been able to get into it that much. Not really sure why because what he does is just as impressive.

Thanks for the article link Bill. I have seen another story from the British press saying pretty much the same thing.

Not really sure what to make of it. He still has done a lot of impressive things on that show that far outweigh sleeping in a motel one night and having someone help him with a raft. I hope they continue to air the show because it is still great to watch. As someone posted on one of the news pages. They should just add his failures into the shows to see where he went wrong.
