HomeGard to the Rescue!!

When we purchased our home back in March we put into our purchase contract that the seller must purchase a 1-year home maintenance service contract. HomeGard was the provider of said contract. It's a good thing we did because at the end of the day on Friday I noticed it was a tad steamy in the house. The temperature was rising and our AC decided to take a little unexpected vacation. It tried to turn on but then shutoff a few seconds later. We had a HomeGard approved heating and air repairmen come and take a look at it today. For the most part he spent the entire day at the house. Needless to say he was able to get it back up and running. Cost to us: $100. Estimated cost without HomeGard: $1000 (Per the repairmen). Woo Hoo my wallet just gave a sigh of relief.
