Our New Abode

After years of renting Jen and I purchased our first house.



For several years we have been wanting to buy but I have always been a little hesitant at taking the final step. We found the house that fit our needs (enough room for 3 young boys) and made an offer. The initial offer was countered and so I made my final offer. It was accepted. We closed on March 16th and moved in a week later.

Since the closing I have painted the master bedroom, Brendan's and Aaron's bedroom, Justin's bedroom, the family room, the kitchen, and the living room. I have also hung up a lot of curtains and blinds, replaced the kitchen faucet, and am currently in the process of cleaning up the landscaping around the house.

Another nice thing about the house is that the boys now have a play room. A majority of their toys are now located in the finished basement so they have enough room to play. The yard is also great for the kids to play. Brendan has never been able to really play outside at the townhomes we lived in because of the small backyards (if you want to call them that) and because of the close proximity to cars. He now has enough space to run.
