The birth of our third son would make it impossible to travel all over the state of Ohio with three car seats unless we bought the minivan. Now hopefully we have enough room to pack the kids and the bags.
We also looked at purchasing a used Honda Odyssey but the Kelley Blue Book value for a 2004 Odyssey with 50K miles was the same as what I paid for the Entourage. The Odyssey also had no warranty. The entourage comes standard with a 5-year bumper to bumper warranty, 4 wheel disc brakes, power everything, a 3.8 V6, and fold away rear seating, etc. It was pretty much a no brainer for me.
The other day I found out that the Insurance Institute for Highway Saftey rated the Entourage as the Tap Safety pick in the minivan category. Makes me feel good about my choice.
